We are an historic 28 acre estate comprising hotel, restaurant and gardens in the famously scenic Scottish Borders.
Whilst conveniently located just 35 minutes from the great city of Edinburgh, similarly close to Edinburgh Airport and just 5 minutes from the town of Peebles, Cringletie guests enjoy a secluded hilltop setting offering panoramic views of the surrounding rural landscape.
A 4 star hotel featuring 2 AA Rosette dining, individually designed guest rooms, lounges with log fires and lots of outdoor areas to explore, including our 350 year old Walled Garden, we practice traditional hotelkeeping with an emphasis on fine food and friendly professional service.
Cringletie is a fully wheelchair friendly accessible hotel and includes a range of facilities quite exceptional for a historic building.
Designated parking is available close to the entrance with plenty of room for transport with additional space requirements, a wheelchair access ramp outside the house, an easy-to-operate chairlift to the ground floor, and a passenger lift to the first and second floors.
