What we do

Holibreak+ is a new venture managed by Equality Together and funded by Bradford MDC, for carers and disabled people within the Bradford District. The service is available to anyone in receipt of a personal budget or NHS Continuing Care Budget with an element of respite money built in or a self-funder.

If you don’t receive either of those budgets contact us and we can signpost you to have an assessment through social services.

We assist in finding accessible holidays and breaks for carers and disabled people. Whether it is as extreme as mounting climbing to relaxing on the beach.

    I have worked for Equality Together for nearly 14 years and have been involved with holiday projects for disabled people and carers throughout my time here.

    I personally believe in carers and disabled people having choice and control of their lives and that choice and control should extend to respite/holidays.

    I have been involved with Equality Together for almost 5 years now. Initially as a support worker for a few hours a month working on holiday projects and escorting on day trips/events for disabled people and carers.

    I am now a project worker for HoliBreak+ which I am enjoying very much and our team will endeavour to help you find the perfect holiday/activity bespoke to you.
