Ximuwu lodge

Ximuwu Safari Lodge is a stunning newly-built 5* safari lodge set on privately owned land within the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve and offers luxury wheelchair-accessible accommodation and facilities. Guests can enjoy level access and interior, luxury accessible wet-rooms with grab-rails, electric adjustable beds, swimming pool lift, bath-lift, accessible photo hides, electric and manual wheelchairs, and wheelchair-accessible airport shuttle bus and gameviewer.

Guests at Ximuwu Safari Lodge can enjoy exclusive use of the large indoor and outdoor dining areas, breakfast room, lounge, a fully-stocked bar, covered patio, private swimming pool with panoramic uninterrupted views of the reserve, and a state-of-the art fitness centre.

Ximuwu Safari Lodge has four stunning private suites carefully designed to ensure a high level of privacy, and all feature North-facing floor-to-ceiling doors overlooking one of the reserve’s waterholes and the reserve wildlife. A separate carer’s room is also available.

Each beautifully styled suite has a large open-plan design with electrically adjustable king-size or twin beds, wood-burner, armchairs, and Smart TV. The sliding glass doors lead onto a private patio with outdoor seating and spectacular views. Guests can enjoy tea and coffee making facilities, daily housekeeping, mini bar and round-the-clock butler service.

Each suite has a large luxury en-suite bathroom with step-free shower, double wheel-under washbasin, freestanding bath (bath-lift available), and level access onto a private patio with second outdoor step-free shower. Two suites also have additional accessibility features including fixed grab-rails for the showers and drop-down grab-rails either side of WC. A wheeled shower/commode chair and frame for WC are available to loan.

Ximuwu Safari Lodge offers guests a wide range of bespoke exclusively designed experiences including private and personalised safaris, game drives, bushwalks, helicopter scenic flights, guided walking safari, night safari, and complimentary use of the Sleep-Out Deck.

Ximuwu’s private chef can provide a wide range of culinary experiences including fine dining, buffets, street food, bush picnics, poolside wood-fired pizza and burgers, buffet breakfast in the bush, and bush dinners and drinks under the stars (all drinks and meals included).
