The Roost Retreat

The Roost Retreat is a bijou, cosy and quiet annexe, nestled in Leeming Bar in North Yorkshire. We are located on the Gateway to Lower Wensleydale and a minute walk from the Wensleydale Heritage Railway, known as the Herriot Country Line. Close to the market towns of Bedale and Northallerton and the Yorkshire Dales.

Sleeps two guests, dog friendly and private, secure level parking right up to the accommodation. Fully enclosed garden and outside patio with barbeque. Separate kitchenette/dining room with a range of basic facilities. The Roost Retreat is ideal for those with walking difficulties or who cannot manage stairs as the property is all on ground floor level and parking directly outside the accommodation. There is one small step into the kitchenette and into the shower. We regret, we cannot accept wheelchairs or mobility scooters as we do not have the space.

The Roost Retreat is also a perfect bolthole for guests with a mental health/learning difficulty/condition who are looking for a tranquil and peaceful stay/break away.

Dogs: We accept up to two small dogs or one medium sized dog. No large dogs allowed due to restricted space. Minimum two-night stay.
