The Estuary Riverside Chalets

If you are looking for luxury for all accommodation in a scenic, tranquil location, then look no further. Newly built in 2020/2021 we opened our doors in December 2021. We have two detached contemporary holiday properties that have been built with accessibility in mind. From the tarmac drive to the ramp access, you will be able to enter the properties with ease. Wide doors, all ground floor and level throughout lead you into the open plan lounge dining kitchen. Three bedrooms, two twin and one superking. One of the twin bedrooms has a spacious ensuite wetroom and there is a second smaller wetroom.

Bramble has a profile bed insitu and Blackberry has the option of a profile bed or the profile bed can be used as a second profile bed in Bramble. We have two mobile hoists (Molife Smart 150 and Oxford Advance 155). We various shower chairs which include a standard show chair, a commode shower chair and a tilt in space shower chair. The accommodation is spacious and modern and there is a huge decking area with panoramic views across the River Wyre and countryside. We have received great feedback from our guests and you can read these on Trust Pilot on our website. We continue to make changes and to adapt to our guests needs. We also have an EVCP. The chalets face West so get the benefit of the sun (when it’s out of course). We have pet lambs in the adjacent field and the accommodation is set on a 10 acre site. Lots of gadgets include underfloor heating, pop up socket with wireless charging, induction hob, motorised blinds, smart TVs in the bedrooms and lounge. Fully fitted kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washer dryer. Light, spacious and airy. We wanted to retain the luxury feel whilst still providing guests with any mobility aids. There are discreet grab rails integrated into the wetroom basin, a circular modern soap grab rail to the shower area, the option of a Kimna toilet frame and we expect to have at least one rise and recline chair by the end of June. Again this will be modern to fit in with the modern surroundings.

Things To Do

We are located just 9 miles from Blackpool, so there are lots of things to do. We are also only 15 minutes from Fleetwood Beach Wheelchairs and the Wyre Trampers at Stanah (across the river). The Flower Bowl at Garstang is 25 minutes away and they have accessible Curling and Cinema. There are some great places to visit such as Lytham, Morecambe, Cleveleys and Fleetwood. We are also only60 minutes from The Lakes.
