The Burrows Cei Bach ~ Anglesey
As a family we have always enjoyed North Wales, and in particular, the beautiful isle of Anglesey (Ynys Mon). We are a small family and in the recent past, one of our number suffered a catastrophic brain injury. This not only had a huge impact on our day to day lives but also made holidaying in the places we loved impossible. We understand how difficult it is to try and find somewhere that may meet a few requirements but still have to make 3 trips with equipment and it still not meet the needs of everyone. We hope we have been able to change that – welcome to The Burrows – Cei Bach which translates to ‘small field’!
We wanted to create an accessible and safe space that still felt luxurious for people to enjoy. We also have little ones with additional needs (one Houdini and one Usain Bolt!) so the fully enclosed garden and minimal furnishings were important considerations when adapting the property to meet the needs of the most complex of families. The bungalow has 4 simple yet stylish double bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and can easily adapt to suit families, groups and carers. Situated all on one level with ramps at both exit doors and ramped access to a covered seating area in the large garden. The considerable garden also allows more space for wheelchairs to move around plus parking for large wheelchair accessible vehicles, additional family members and carers cars. The bungalow is located in the centre of Anglesey with most parts of the island being accessed within 20 minutes. Another reason we chose this property in the village of Rhostrehwfa, is its proximity to the A5 to enable direct access on and off the Island. The nearest hospital is also only 20 minutes away in Bangor.
