Sara’s Cottage

Sara’s Cottage is a multi award winning, Visit England 5 Star Gold rated, luxurious country cottage ideally located for visiting both the North and South coast beaches of Cornwall.  The cottage is only 10 minutes drive from the cathedral city of Truro and provides easy access to the many gardens and attractions Cornwall has to offer. The cottage is accessible for the less mobile and wheelchair users.  There is a plethora of accessible equipment available for guests to use free of charge.  

We have a comprehensive access guide on our website and many suggestions for accessible days out.  Beach wheelchairs can be hired from several organisations one of which will deliver the equipment to us in preparation of your stay.

This beautiful cottage sleeps 6 guests and has 3 bathrooms.  The largest bedroom boasts a luxury roll in wet room.  The second bedroom has its own en suite and the third bedroom has use of a bathroom across the hall.  There is a large living room with dining and a seating area plus seating in the garden room.

The cottage is a short drive from three village pubs, the National Trust Gardens at Trelissick and the King Harry ferry leading to the Roseland peninsula.  The coast to coast cycle trail at Bissoe is also close by and The Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan are forty minutes drive away.  The cottage is ideally located for visiting most parts of the beautiful county of Cornwall.

All on one level and wide doorways make this an ideal holiday home for the less mobile as well as for families and couples.  The cottage is dog friendly and there is plenty of dog walking direct from the door as the cottage is set in 50 acres of the owners’ land which is next to Carrine Common.

The heated garden room allows enjoyment of the private south facing rear garden throughout the year and is surrounded by Cornish stone hedges and mature trees. The garden room leads onto a sunny patio that is ideal for meals or evening drinks.

The largest bedroom is situated at one end of the property and has its own en suite wet room facility. The remaining two bedrooms are at the other side of the open plan living room.  All three bedrooms have patio doors leading onto the rear garden which allow you to enjoy the many birds that visit the feeding stations in the garden.
