Mountain Lodge

Luxury disabled holiday accommodation with a specialist anti allergy interior. Mountain Lodge has three stunning en-suite bedrooms, one with a welcoming king size bed, one that may be configured as a double or twin room and the second with two single beds, and our specialist room with a profiling bed with looped tracking hoist. The whole accommodation has been purpose designed and built for accessible living and enjoyment. All the rooms are light and spacious and have patio doors leading outside for easy and safe access.

The accommodation comprises 3 bathrooms, one has a free-standing bath, another a walk-in shower, the purpose built en-suite also boasts a wet room based on changing places design with a wet room shower, drop down shower seat, changing bench, wheelchair accessible sink, high toilet and grab rails. There is a large open plan kitchen with dual height hob and sink allowing everyone to take part in rustling up a feast. The kitchen has a full range of appropriate utensils including light-weight pans, a talking microwave, dishwasher and kitchen trolley for transporting food. We have a no pour kettle under-counter fridge and freezer along with a lockable cabinet for medicine and that all important Nespresso machine.

The fabulous open plan living, and kitchen areas allow all guests to be sociable and come together in one space. At the heart of the living area there is a wood burning stove which makes the property not just functional but warm and inviting; it’s a lovely place to play games, read, watch a movie or chat.

The large floor space allows for additional specialist equipment to be brought in from home should you require it. We provide personal and expert reassurance that everyone will be comfortable and able to manage their daily living needs knowing the correct equipment is in place. Outside and you will discover a sun-soaked terrace complete with a table and chairs and a barbecue, perfect for meals alfresco. Next to that is a bubbling hot tub, with access to a hoist. Outside there is plenty of lawn space, and a play frame for our younger occupants to let off some steam. Snuggle up by the fire pit on those chilly evenings and enjoy a glass of something. Mountain lodge has anti allergen bedding, HEPA air filter and an extra mid-week clean. There are two allocated disabled parking spaces as well as access to an EV charger, usage is billed separately.
