Llechryd Farm

Found on the West Coast of Wales within the beautiful surrounding of Snowdonia National Park.

Llechryd is an upgraded and extended farm house in Talybont. A small village north of the town of Barmouth. There are views from the front of the property across Cardigan Bay, the Llyn Peninsular and Bardsey Island. Perfect for those with additional needs to get together with family and friends.

The Accessible bedroom is situated to the front of the house with dual aspect windows. A large bay includes a built in window bed / seat with sea views giving light and character to the room. The large room gives a spacious layout and turning circle for large wheelchairs, and all additional equipment needed.
The oak beamed ceiling and feature industrial style lighting offsets the beams of the H ceiling track system that covers the entire room . The Guldmann GH 3 ceiling hoist, installed , serviced and Loler inspected by Multicare Medical, makes lifting , and moving procedures safe, simple and comfortable for user and those providing support.

Two Opera Classic height adjustable profiling beds with Trendelenburg function (tilt) sit along the main wall with height appropriate furniture for equipment that may be needed. Available for each bed is a Opera ultra profiling mattress, designed for users with a high risk of developing a pressure sore or a Tamora Plus II Digital dynamic mattresses – alternating cell air mattress for very high risk guests.

An additional single bed gives a place for a carer / parent to sleep / rest if care and support is required overnight.

We have recently added an outdoor hoisted swim spa and sun patio area.
