We would like to introduce you to a disabled-friendly hotel that is fully adapted to guests with moderate or severe disabilities.
Izola is home to the only resort in Slovenia that offers its above-standard range of adaptations for people with mobility impairments to all other guests, according to the principle of accessible tourism. In 2023, we renovated 26 rooms, and we are happy to be able to offer the possibility of a carefree vacation to both; guests with mobility impairments as well as to their families, and everyone else who want excellent accommodation and service.

• Each room is equipped with an electric bed
• There are ceiling lifts in the rooms and bathrooms for transferring people from and to wheelchairs
• Fully accessible premises
• Elevator to the pool
• Ramp for access to the sea
• Adapted sauna
• Adapted equipment in the fitness center
• Full accessibility of outdoor areas (hotel park, beach)
• The possibility of renting medical equipment (in-room mobile lift, electric scooter or wheelchair, crutches, free-standing trapeze, anti-bedsore cushion, toilet chair, etc.)
• All these aids are integrated in the rooms as almost invisible, so all the rooms have an elegant hotel look
Another special feature is that guests have the option of a transport by a adapted vehicle that can pick them up at the airport or train station. In addition, during their stay, they can also arrange personal care help, opt for massage or physiotherapy services from our specialists.
Floramare health Resort is only 50 meters away from the sea, children’s playground and Izola promenade.
