Ellwood Cottages – Dorset

Ellwood Cottages are located in the heart of rural Dorset in the peaceful hamlet of Woolland. Our 3 cottages named after Dorset Writers Hardy, Barnes and Blyton have been lovingly restored to provide superbly equipped, comfortable, tastefully furnished, year round, single storey holiday accommodation for the less-abled, their families, friends and carers.

The cottages have open-plan living/dining spaces with double height ceilings, riser/recliner chairs, accessible kitchens, en-suite wet-rooms and a wide range of mobility equipment such as profiling beds, mobile hoists and various shower chairs/commodes to loan free of charge.

Ellwood Cottages has an accessible indoor heated splash pool available (April – October) for the exclusive use of guests with easy access steps and fixed hoist.

Guests can also enjoy a communal recreation room and spacious gardens with stunning views.

Ellwood Cottages , a short drive from Blandford, Dorchester, Sherborne and Shaftesbury and within easy reach of the Jurassic Coast ( Swanage, Weymouth).

Two lovely apartments, The Old Stable / The Stable Annexe ( sleep two / apartment) also available to book together with cottage(s) for additional guests or carers.
