Casa de la Risa, Wheelchair accessible villa, Javea, Spain

Casa de la Risa is located on the urbanisation of La Cala, in Javea on the Costa Blanca Spain. The villa was purpose built to allow easy access for wheelchair users throughout the villa and the garden grounds, and is complimented by the tantalising kidney shaped pool with roman steps and hydraulic pool hoist, for those who need assistance. The villa is south facing, benefitting from the sun throughout the day, with the naya available for that ever important shade. There is parking for 3-4 cars within the grounds and benefits from secure electric gates for ease of entry.

Access
The Villa has wide doors throughout so there are no issues with getting around in a manual or electric wheelchair and the Lounge, Kitchen and Dining area are all open plan to enable easy access. The hall leading to the bedrooms and family bathroom is wide and again the main bathroom is spacious for wheelchair use. The villa has 3 bedrooms all of which have air conditioning and can accommodate 6 people. Two of the bedrooms have direct access on to the pool terrace.

Master bedroom
The master bedroom has a King size bed with a memory foam mattress and space to transfer from either side. There is also plenty of room for a hoist if you require to hire one. Air conditioning units are in all of the bedrooms. French doors provide direct access from the master bedroom on to the pool terrace and you have a great view of the pool from your room.

Equipment
The en-suite has a wide sliding door which leads you into the large wet room with a level access shower, with a self propelling shower chair if required. There are fold down grab rails at either side of the toilet to help with transfers and the shower chair can also go over the toilet if required.

The pool
The glistening waters of the private pool entice you in, as soon as you enter on to the terrace, where you are also met by the wonderful surrounding views. The pool is 10x5m and provides hours of enjoyment for all of the family.
The ultimate necessity to enable you to enjoy your holiday at Casa de la Risa is the seated hydraulic pool hoist to let you join in with the family fun!

A car is recommended during your stay to experience the surrounding area along with a visit to the Arenal beach, Javea Port and the Old Town which are a 5-10 minute drive from the villa.
