Steeped in history, the studio was once home to renowned Newlyn School artist Samuel John Lamorna Birch RA RWS, with traces of his original paintwork still visible around the oak doorway.

Perfect for couples, guests can relax in the private hot tub and sauna, enjoy coffee beside the stream, dine alfresco on the enclosed patio with barbecue, or simply unwind surrounded by birdsong and woodland wildlife. The fully enclosed garden also makes Birch Studio ideal for guests travelling with dogs.

Despite its wonderfully secluded setting, Lamorna Cove and the popular Wink Inn are just a two-minute walk away. Mousehole is only five minutes by car, while Newlyn, Porthcurno, the Minack Theatre, St Michael’s Mount, Land’s End and the spectacular South West Coast Path are all within easy reach.

Birch Studio sleeps up to four guests, with one king-size bedroom, a small sofa bed in the living area and a cosy mezzanine reading nook. The open-plan living, dining and kitchen space is full of character, while the shower room and washing facilities are conveniently located within the bedroom.
