Canal Boat Trip 5th May
Fabulous day on the accessible Endeavour Canal boat yesterday, passing Bluebell woods on our way to Farnhill to stop for lunch. Some of the feedback we received.
- It was a lovely, restful, relaxing day. It was well planned and created a safe place to breathe!! It is difficult being full-time family Carers with a person with complex needs. This gave us all a warm embrace. Everything was fantastic, would love more similar trips or theatre.
- OMG it’s just what I need, I am so relaxed and refreshed and ready for the rest of the day. The people I was with, the new friends I made, the love and kindness Joyce and Debra showed us all and the helper on the boat. More of these trips please, especially as the warmer weather comes on. I was quite stressed this morning and since being on the boat I am so much more relaxed and not in so much pain. It has taken my mind off my ailments.
- Loved seeing all the wildlife and bluebells and the memorial. I think this boat trip is so relaxing for all. I have had a difficult 2 months, and this has been so relaxing for me.
- The scenery, the ride, just beautiful, all of it.
- Seeing the whole countryside from that angle, lovely. Enjoyed it all. It was just great. Thank you.
- Never been on a canal boat before, just amazing, every part of it. Loved it. Would love to be able to go again.
